John,

There are a lot of ads on the air right now because my opponents are spending millions of dollars -- mostly attacking me and my record. So in the final days of this race, let me make sure I set the record straight.

Brandon Johnson recklessly called to slash the budget of the Chicago Police Department and leave officer vacancies open -- inevitably leaving our neighborhoods less safe.

Paul Vallas is running a TV ad about being pro-LGBTQ - but Equality Illinois, LPAC, and Victory Fund have all called for his ad to be taken down. He was deafeningly silent after the Supreme Court gutted Roe, and has cozied up to notorious homophobes.

Chuy Garcia had to return federal donations from crypto crook Sam Bankman-Fried. Instead of owning it and explaining himself to Chicagoans, he’s running an ad calling me “desperate.”

Leading this city has been the honor of my lifetime. We’ve accomplished a lot together the last four years -- but it hasn’t been easy and there are no shortcuts. It requires experience, grit, dedication and focus each and every day.

In the final days of this race, will you consider rushing a contribution to help me stay in the lead and win big for Chicago on Tuesday?

Thanks for being with me every step of the way. I couldn’t ask for a better team.

Let’s finish strong.

-Lori
