In an exclusive interview with Rachel Maddow, Lev Parnes broke his silence for the first time in the impeachment proceedings, saying, “President Trump knew exactly what was going on” in Ukraine.
 
“He was aware of all my movements. I wouldn’t do anything without the consent of Rudy Giuliani, or the president. I have no intent, I have no reason to speak to any of these officials,” Parnes told Maddow.
 
And John Bolton says he’ll testify in the Senate trial if subpoenaed.
 
But Mitch McConnell and the Senate GOP have repeatedly blocked Democrats’ attempts to call witnesses or subpoena new documents, halting many of their amendments on Tuesday when discussing the rules of the trial.
