The Peace Action Committee of the Green Party of the United States is hosting a webinar -?Peace in the Crossfire of Modern Media?- to discuss the danger of biased media coverage of the war in Ukraine. As the escalating conflict brings the world perilously close to the brink of a major war between nuclear-armed adversaries, honest media reportage has never been more critical. Yet, Western mainstream media outlets continuously portray a distorted image of the conflict that whitewashes Western culpability and engenders support for further escalation of hostilities. The webinar features a panel of distinguished speakers to unpack the militaristic agenda lurking behind the pro-war mainstream media.
