The San Antonio Express News just reported, team:

Ground Game Texas’s San Antonio Justice Charter — which will decriminalize abortion, marijuana, and reform local police conduct — is facing a legal challenge from an anti-abortion group that could derail the initiative.

Here’s the bad news – As the Express News reports, “the group has a powerful ally in Texas AG Ken Paxton, who is urging the court to side with them.”

But here’s the good news – the San Antonio Justice Charter is a “bold political strategy to confront a Republican conservative policy on abortion.”

Our initiative is the first major abortion rights initiative in Texas since Republicans banned abortion last year. We’re working hard to vigorously defend it and make sure it passes—but we need your help to get it done.

Can you chip in $25, or whatever you can afford, to help us fight back against anti-abortion activists and Texas AG Ken Paxton? With your help we can fight back against the GOP abortion ban in Texas.

>> Help us fight back! <<

Team, Ground Game Texas is working overtime to defend Texans’ abortion rights—and to pass comprehensive justice legislation that makes our communities safer. A critical part of that reform is ensuring Texans aren’t harassed by police for so-called “abortion crimes.”

With your help, we can defend this initiative against anti-abortion activists and their ally Ken Paxton. But that work requires resources from grassroots supporters like you.

Can you chip in $25, or whatever you can afford, to help us defend and pass this initiative? Together we can fight back against the extreme Texas abortion ban.

Thank you,

Ground Game Texas
