We had the pleasure of welcoming Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to Illinois
this past week as part of his Back the Blue tour. In Illinois, crime is rising
and Governor Pritzker’s anti-police agenda is harming our communities. Illinois
should take a page out of Governor DeSantis’ playbook of backing law
enforcement and prosecuting violent criminals. I will always support the police
in Congress, and I am grateful to Governor DeSantis for making the trip.

I am honored to serve Illinois in Congress and wanted to share an update with
you as we close out February. Our House Republican majority is in full swing
working place a check on the Biden Administration, reduce inflation, curb
violent crime, and secure the border. Thank you to all of the Illinois
conservatives that have reached out to share their advice and thoughts as we
