 In 2019, White Claw exploded in growth, raking in roughly $1.5 billion in sales as America's top-selling hard seltzer. But a growing number of competitors present the biggest challenge yet to White Claw. Nielsen predicts that the number of spiked seltzer brands will double this year.

Molson Coors to Acquire Detroit’s Atwater Brewery

Molson Coors Beverage Company’s craft arm, Tenth and Blake, has reached an agreement to acquire Detroit, Michigan-based Atwater Brewing. “Our priority is to make sure their beer is enjoyed by consumers throughout their core markets and eventually across the Great Lakes region,” said Paul Verdu, vice president of Tenth and Blake.

Congress wants vaping industry to pay for FDA oversight

A bipartisan group of senators wants the vaping industry to pay for more of the Food and Drug Administration's oversight of vaping products. he FDA's Center for Tobacco Products has spent a lot of time and money on the vaping industry, but the fees that fund that activity are more geared toward cigarette, cigar and smokeless tobacco manufacturers.
