47 years ago today, the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision marked a turning point in our country's history. It was and is a huge victory in the fight for reproductive freedom, but this fight continues as access to abortion remains unequal and conservative politicians scheme to take away our rights.

Here in North Carolina, the GOP-controlled General Assembly has been chipping away at Roe v. Wade for years, hurting thousands of people and families across our state.
