Roe v. Wade turns 47 years old today, and it has never been in more danger.

Last year more than 300 pieces of anti-choice legislation were introduced in state legislatures across the country, all part of a coordinated strategy intended to bring Roe back in front of the Supreme Court.

In just the first month of 2020, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has called for an anti-choice amendment to the state constitution, while an Ohio state senator moved to ban telemedicine that prescribes two common abortion medications.

And earlier this month, over 200 anti-choice legislators signed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court, asking it to overturn Roe outright.

The best way to fight anti-choice legislation is to elect more pro-choice Democratic women to flip seats held by anti-choice lawmakers.
