In July 2020, workers across 28 brands at Hearst Magazines won their union and became Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE), members.

Since then, management has taken blatant anti-union action and is holding out on several issues:
- Fair salary minimums.
- Annual increases.
- Guaranteed minimum severance.
- Protections for diverse and inclusive hiring.
- The right to union representation in the case of harassment and discrimination.
Union members at Hearst Magazines will not accept an unfair contract.

Take two minutes to write a letter and tell Hearst management to negotiate in good faith and agree to a fair contract.
