Diversity without inclusion is meaningless.

Dear Friends,

Diversity without inclusion is meaningless. How is it possible we keep touting Houston as the most diverse city in the country when Latino’s comprise 45% of the population, yet we only have one Latino representative on City Council?

We need help from the Latino community, as well as our allies, to change the status quo. If you are passionate about impacting change, we’d like you to participate in our upcoming annual membership meeting.

This is a space where leaders who are eager to empower the Latino community will gather.

Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: TBD

Our vision is a citywide political landscape where representation mirrors the Latino population, and elected officials are held accountable to the Latino community. Last year, we:
* Donated $40,000 to our endorsed candidates
* Volunteered 700 of hours on the campaigns of our endorsed candidates
* Co-sponsored two informational events about the state of Latino education

Although our efforts are notable, the reality is more work is required to achieve equitable political representation.

Let’s impact change together! We invite you to match your words with your actions by attending our membership meeting to find opportunities to support the Latino community.
