The North Carolina House has finally acted and passed Medicaid expansion — a bipartisan victory that has been a decade in the making.

This monumental vote has brought us one step closer to ensuring our people have the health care they need. If passed by the Senate, this bill would extend coverage to over 600,000 North Carolinians who are not currently eligible for Medicaid.
