I came to Chicago as a senior in high school and enrolled at Farragut Career Academy on the West Side.



Moving to Chicago helped me adjust to dealing with different personalities in my soon-to-come NBA life. It’s here that I developed my work ethic, learned to fight for what I believe in, and discovered the power of community.

I’m supporting Lori Lightfoot for Mayor of Chicago -- because like me, she cares about our community.

Throughout her life, Mayor Lightfoot has shown that actions speak louder than words. I’m especially grateful for her advocacy for the INVEST South/West Program -- a three year plan that invests $750 million of public funding into 10 targeted communities that need support.

Lori is a leader who knows what it means to work hard, understands the importance of community, and is committed to making Chicago a better place for all its residents.

She’s also a big basketball fan -- I’m told she has a pretty sweet jump shot!

Like Mayor Lightfoot, I know firsthand the challenges that our city faces. But I also know that Chicago is a place of incredible resilience and strength.
