Hi Friend,
It's clear travel patterns have changed in DC since 2019 but -- how, exactly? We've been researching it for months. Now, we're giving you a first look at findings.
Join Greater Greater Washington for a webinar from 12-1:30pm on Wednesday, February 22 that looks at what we've learned about how people are moving in, around, and through the District of Columbia.
In July 2022, GGWash commissioned Nelson\Nygaard to analyze StreetLight Insight data to better understand patterns of travel as the District emerged from Covid-19 lockdowns. Our original research compares trips taken by car, by bike, on foot, and by Metrorail and Metrobus in March 2019 versus March 2022, at the District and ward levels.
