Tulsi Gabbard for President

We’ve fallen behind on fundraising this month and are now in real danger — for the first time ever — of not making our target for the month. We’ve never missed a goal before, and we’ve never allowed Tulsi’s bold truth-telling to be silenced. We can’t let this month be any different. Can you rush a $19 donation now to get us on track?

Jack —

I’ll get right to the point — from where I’m sitting we have two choices:

1). Stay where we are: If we stay on the track we’re on today, we will not raise our low-end target of $1 million this month, and we will need to immediately dial-down our ambition: Cutting back on critical online and TV ad spending and field operations, making it much less likely that Tulsi’s vision and our movement’s message will be heard by voters before they go to the polls.

2). Get back on track: We still have the time and the resources to get back on track — we’re launching a new powerful TV ad tomorrow, based on feedback from all of you, and these spots do not come cheaply.

Before you doubt for one second that we can do this, take a second to think on how far we’ve already come:

Tulsi entered the race as a candidate from the small state of Hawaii, with next to no national name recognition. She — all of us — immediately faced aggressive media backlash, and a coordinated smear-campaign by Hillary Clinton, and the DNC establishment she represents.

In spite of the uphill climb, we prevailed. Competing with — and in some cases outlasting — senators with huge email fundraising lists and war chests, former presidential candidates, billionaires with PAC money to burn, and establishment-selected favorites. We’re still in this, Jack, and Tulsi isn’t going anywhere as long as you have her back.

Right now is when we can least afford to lose the amazing momentum we’ve been steadily gaining over the past year. I know we can do this, Jack. Tulsi is counting on all of us to step it up before it’s too late. Will you chip-in $19 now to show Tulsi you’re still with her?

Being an outsider willing to speak hard truths to both party establishments and the American war machine they serve — it always comes at a price. But that’s the cost of putting people before politics, and that’s why We, The People need to show Tulsi right now that we’re right there with her — that we will not let our momentum flag.

Can Tulsi count on you today?
