Hi John, A proposal quickly moving through the Florida House and Senate would allow an estimated $4 billion of our tax dollars to be drained from public schools to pay for vouchers to private schools and homeschooling. These bills would make all children in Florida- regardless of income or ability- eligible for an education voucher. The most recent data shows that Florida is 43rd in student funding-- more than $5,000 behind the national average. Our educators, students and schools cannot afford this massive giveaway of precious dollars. Tell Florida politicians to follow the constitution and support the vast majority of parents who choose to send their children to public schools.
