Sonke strengthens governments, civil society and citizen’s capacity to advance gender justice and women’s rights, prevent gender-based violence, and reduce the spread of HIV and the impact of AIDS, and in this way contributing to social justice and the elimination of poverty.


** About this Position

The Regional Projects Unit (RPU) Senior Trainer will report to the GTA Specialist and will provide technical capacity support on gender norms transformative programming to the Power to Youth programme, MenEngage Africa and Sonke’s partners in the region. Some of the key deliverables for the incumbent includes formative research and design, capacity building in gender norms transformation through a comprehensive training of trainers (ToT) methodology and qualitative research, focusing on both individual change as well as the impact of research and country partner interventions.
