Hi John,

This past weekend, more than 200 Nicaraguan political prisoners and survivors of torture arrived in our community. As a trusted community partner, NVFS’ Multicultural Center crisis response team was called on for support by the Center for Victims of Torture and provided over 70 hours of mental health services to these resilient survivors over the weekend.

During the coming weeks, we will continue to provide intensive mental health, immigration, legal, and medical services <[link removed]> to these and others who arrive in need of our assistance.

Will you donate today so we can meet the rapidly increasing demand for our services ? <[link removed]>

Your gift will provide urgent medical and mental health care, shelter, food, legal representation and more to people who have undergone trauma unfathomable to most of us. They need the support of their neighbors today — they need you.

With gratitude,
