John,
We are in the fight of our lives.
As of today, 19 states have passed the COS Resolution to call the first-ever Convention of States to propose amendments that limit the runaway power of the federal government.
But the opposition is waking up. They know that we’re just fifteen states away from unraveling decades of harmful policies that have undercut our most sacred liberties.
Common Cause has united 250 progressive organizations to mobilize against us, and we’re already seeing the impacts of their work on the ground.
In Montana, they sent out a mass text asking voters to contact their State Senators to vote “no” to COS.
Their tactics worked. They flipped one vote, and we lost a critical floor vote.
Now they’re planning to do the same in other states that have pending votes on COS.
But that’s not all. In North Dakota, another anti-constitution network has filed a Rescission Bill to remove ND from our growing list of passed states.
A committee in the ND Senate will vote on that bill today.
This is not the time to rest. We are in the heat of battle. That’s why, yesterday, we launched an urgent, 48-hour fundraising blitz.
We’re preparing to launch a new program that will enable us to reach and mobilize voters in key, battleground states, encouraging them to contact their state legislators and urge them to vote “YES” to COS.
The voice of the American people MUST be heard. We cannot allow the lies and deception of the radical left to win.
We only have hours remaining before our midnight deadline and are less than halfway to our goal. Will you please consider a gift of $50, $100, or even $250 to advance the critical work of COS?
