Dear John,
<[link removed]>

When Joe first threw his hat into the ring and declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination for President, I described this race to defeat Trump as a "David and Goliath" struggle, and I told The New York Times that Joe made a good David.

Flash forward to today, with less than two weeks to go until the Iowa Caucuses, and I believe that just as much now as when I said it. Despite having an unprecedented lack of resources and facing efforts he couldn't have anticipated from the Trump machine to rig the election, Joe is still slugging it out and making a dent.

A poll last week showed Joe garnering 14% in battleground Florida, a state that's been widely written off as a Trump stronghold. Another survey found that more Republican primary voters are having conversations about Joe's candidacy than their Democrat counterparts are about candidates like Yang, Klobuchar and Steyer.

Joe's message is resonating because he's reminded regular Republican voters why they became conservatives in the first place. He's not asking them to change what's in their consciences — he's asking them to vote their consciences, and that means rejecting the unfit person who currently occupies the White House.

There's a bigger disconnect than ever between regular Republican voters and the Trump-controlled Republican Party apparatus. Joe's put Trump's gang on notice that he's not afraid to take them on.

But now it's crunch-time in Iowa. I believe that if Joe can pull off a strong number in Iowa in two weeks, it will completely shift the landscape of this race. But he needs your help to get more people out there knocking doors, making phone calls and devoting resources to promote Joe's candidacy to Republican voters who still haven't realized there's a viable choice against Trump.

Will you help Joe take Trump by surprise in Iowa with your contribution of $50, $100, $250, $500 or the maximum contribution of $2,800? Any amount helps, and it will go a long way in getting more people out for Joe on caucus night. <[link removed]>

Thanks for your help.
