All indicators said that the COS Resolution should pass, especially because a third reading usually holds the same vote as the second reading. 

Then it happened. 

Common Cause paid for a massive text blast to voters in Montana telling lies about COS to mobilize phone calls into the state legislature, asking people to urge their Senators to vote against the COS Resolution. 

As a result, one Senator flipped her vote and killed our Resolution in Montana for the year.

Now we know what to expect. We know his next move. And we’re adjusting strategies as we head into critical votes in Wyoming, Iowa, and Idaho.
