State Senate in a state that has implemented a total abortion ban.

we can elect her to the Kentucky State Senate in next week’s special election?

Friends,

Cassie knows firsthand how important public service and giving back to the
community is. Her family grew up in poverty in Eastern Kentucky – When she
was born, her mother took her home from the hospital to their rented
trailer in one of the poorest parts of the state.

Cassie would go on to attend Yale and Harvard Law – but rather than cash
in as a high-profile lawyer at a major law firm – she returned home to
Kentucky to provide free legal services to low-income Kentuckians with a
focus on women experiencing domestic violence at home.

As a member of the Louisville Metro Council, Cassie has been a fierce
advocate for paid family leave, renters assistance, abortion rights, and
public education. She passed an ordinance establishing “safety zones”
around reproductive healthcare facilities to keep women safe and made the
first investment by the city in early childhood education and childcare.

controls: A donation of $10 will help send Cassie there next
week.
