We have some new developments on the George Santos scandal.

First: news broke that Santos is officially under investigation by the House Ethics committee for campaign finance violations and for revelations that lied about his upbringing, education, and work history.

Then: Kevin McCarthy declined to block George Santos from receiving classified briefings, despite bipartisan calls for him to do so.

Last week: Eric joined three Democratic colleagues in introducing a resolution to formally expel Santos from Congress.

The pressure is mounting on Santos to either resign or be expelled from Congress, but we need to continue showing public support to put an end to Santos' political career. If you haven't yet, add your name to our nationwide petition calling on House Republicans to expel George Santos from Congress.

In the last week alone, new reports emerged that Santos was arrested in Pennsylvania for writing hot checks to Amish dog breeders. He's also been accused of sexual harassment by a former staffer. Does this sound like the behavior of someone fit for office? 

Let's not forget that he still holds meaningful power as a voting Member of Congress. He can't be trusted with sensitive information, let alone have a say in how taxpayer dollars are spent.
