Hi folks —

If you’re like me, you’re finding it hard to believe that it’s already February. I’m already a month into my second term serving you in the House!

As I’m sure you know, we have many important fights ahead of us this year — we must defend reproductive freedom, continue our work to combat climate change, enact gun safety reforms, protect voting rights, and keep pushing for progress on the issues that impact the lives of people in Wake County and beyond.

With Republicans controlling the House, most of these fights are uphill battles. We have our work cut out for us — but no matter how hard things get, I’m committed to passing legislation that embodies our values of fairness, equity, and progress.

My team and I are sitting down at the end of this week to talk through these important issues and finalize our strategy, and it’s extremely important to me that I bring your thoughts to the table. So, I want to check in with you personally.
