Air Quality Part 6 Rule Revisions: What existing sources of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) need to know
February 22, 9:00-11:00 AM
Revisions to Part 6 of the Michigan Air Pollution Control Rules affect existing sources of VOC emissions located in ozone nonattainment areas. With these Part 6 Rule revisions on their way to being finalized, there are things some companies should do to be ready. This webinar will go over what the expected changes will be, who is affected, and what a facility can do to prepare.
*Who should attend?*
Any facility that is an existing source of VOC emissions in an ozone nonattainment area. Common sources of VOC emissions include businesses with painting or coating operations, solvent cleaning processes, printing, gasoline loading and storage facilities, and paint manufacturing. Nonattainment areas include the western portions of Allegan, Berrien, and Muskegon Counties, and Southeast Michigan (Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Saint Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties).
*Where can I find out more?*
Information on the proposed revisions, as well as industry guidance and responses to comments on the proposed rule revisions can be found at Michigan.gov/Air [ [link removed] ], choose "Laws and Rules."
