While serving as the Republican governor of Ohio, Gov. Kasich and Democrat State Sen. Nina Turner put aside politics and came together to create a model for police/community relations that should be adopted by other states and the nation. As America deals with the aftermath of yet another tragic death at the hand of police, Gov. Kasich and Sen. Turner co-authored an op-ed in The Hill calling on our leaders to do more. |
