We have some breaking news, team.

Our initiative is officially on the ballot in San Antonio! The San Antonio Justice Charter is a groundbreaking justice policy that can be a model for cities across Texas—and voters in San Antonio have a chance to pass it THIS May!

The San Antonio Justice Charter would:

1.
decriminalize
abortion
care—ending
police
enforcement
of
abortion
“crimes”
2.
decriminalize
low-level
marijuana
possession
3.
ban
no-knock
police
warrants
4.
end
the
use
of
police
chokeholds
5.
require
citations
instead
of
arrests
for
low-level
nonviolent
crimes

This initiative is historic for many reasons, including the fact that this will be the FIRST abortion initiative in Texas since Roe was overturned. It’s critical we pass this—but to do that, we need your help.

We’re hiring field organizers to make sure voters know this is on the ballot—can you help us kick-start our Get Out the Vote operation in San Antonio? [[link removed]]
