Earlier this week, I reached out to you about serial liar — Congressman George Santos — and asked you to join me in calling on Congress to condemn his lies and fraud.

Today I dropped a resolution on the House floor to expel George Santos from Congress.

Enough is enough. Our country can no longer be plagued by a congressman who was elected on the basis of fabrication and fraud. He lied to reporters, he lied to his own party, and he lied to the American people. We don’t know who he is, where his campaign funding came from, or what other lies he spewed.

Allowing George Santos to continue serving as congressman will send a message to other candidates that they can fabricate their qualifications to voters without fear of punishment. That is a danger to our democracy itself.

Republicans and Democrats alike must unite in the name of truth and accountability and vote to expel George Santos.
