Friend,

After the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, Texas Republicans passed one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the nation. Under this law, anyone who assists patients in seeking abortion care could be criminalized.

But Ground Game Texas is fighting back. We’ve launched the FIRST major ballot initiative in Texas to address abortion rights since the end of Roe.

We will explain exactly what this bill does below— but first, can you rush in a contribution of any size to help us pass it? Any contribution helps us show that abortion rights are POPULAR in Texas. [[link removed]]

Friend, Texas Republicans didn’t waste any time outlawing abortion the second Roe v. Wade was overturned. Under their extreme abortion ban, anyone could be at risk of prosecution for helping patients get reproductive care.

But Ground Game Texas is fighting back on the ballot. In San Antonio we’re putting an initiative on the ballot to decriminalize abortion. What does that mean? It means that, once it’s passed, none of the city’s resources will be used for police enforcement of abortion “crimes.”

This is the first major abortion rights initiative in Texas since Roe was overturned. That’s why it’s critical that we pass this initiative and show lawmakers how much voters support reproductive care and abortion rights. Can you chip in a contribution of any size to help us pass our abortion initiative? [[link removed]]
