Our 51-member Democratic Senate majority wouldn’t have been possible
without the historic victories of 7 of our Democratic scientists who now
serve in the Senate.

Jacky Rosen (computer programmer), Mark Kelly (astronaut), and John
Hickenlooper (geologist) all flipped pivotal Senate seats from red to blue
in 2018 and 2020. The GOP and Mitch McConnell would be in power if it
weren’t for their wins that you helped power.

The vast majority of these 7 Senate Democrats represent swing states +
have been champions on public health, reproductive rights, the
environment, voting rights, the Covid-19 response and recovery, and gun
violence in the Senate.

If our Democratic scientists in the Senate lose next year we lose the
majority. Which is why we need to get to work ASAP if we want any hope to
defend the Senate (Republicans won Wisconsin’s last Senate race + were
within 1% of winning Nevada; two states where we have vulnerable Democrats
up in 2024).
