Hey John,

 

At tonight’s State of the Union address, President Biden again showed why he earned the greatest number of votes in American history. He is a uniter, a healer, and a doer.

 

During President Biden’s first two years in office, we created a record 12 million jobs — more than twice the rate of job creation of any previous president. In the last two years, we enacted policies to benefit all Americans. That’s a stark contrast to the GOP’s main objective of giving tax breaks to corporations and the extremely wealthy (Republicans are sort of one-trick ponies).

 

Tonight, we heard a vision from President Biden, a roadmap for building on our progress — with Republicans if possible, but if not, full steam ahead with clear eyes for the American people.

 

I am proud of the work we have already done, and I am ready to get to work with the President on so much more.
