When it comes to predicting election results, Virginia is the nation’s crystal ball.

In 2017, VA Democrats flipped 15 House of Delegates seats.
And in 2018, we retook the House after eight years of GOP control.

In 2019, we held the VA House of Delegates and won the State Senate.
And in 2020, Democrats held the House and narrowly flipped the Senate.

In 2021, Democrats lost their majority in the House of Delegates but kept the State Senate.
And in 2022, Congress followed the exact same pattern.

This year, all eyes are on Virginia for a good reason: Our state elections will provide critical lessons for Democrats in 2024.

Every seat in our General Assembly is up for re-election in November. The work to build a winning coalition of voters begins now.

But I can also predict that Republicans will rake in millions in dark money this cycle, while our organization relies on your grassroots support to register voters, produce ads, and support Democratic candidates.
