John, I didn’t want to have to write this email … but we might have to pull our ads from the air, and I need to reach out for help.

Advertising is really expensive, and if we can’t raise enough money before our midnight deadline, we’ll have to start making cuts.

These ads are proven-effective, and they are the best way to communicate my vision for Chicago to our voters.

My team wrote to you to let you know we need to raise $10,000 before midnight to stay on track for our outreach and advertising efforts. And I have to be direct: Our campaign simply cannot afford to miss this goal.

So I’m coming to you directly: Will you make a contribution to my campaign right now to help me keep our ads on the air and share our message for the future? Every donation counts:

Thank you for helping me in this critical moment.

– Lori Lightfoot
