The 2010s have officially been declared the world’s hottest decade in recorded history, with the past 40 years seeing an average increase of 0.32 degrees per decade. And there is a 95% chance that 2020 will follow in that trend as one of the hottest years as well.
Meanwhile, Trump has increased oil drilling access in our national parks, stopped states from regulating car emissions, and withdrawn the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accord -- ALL WHILE making the ridiculous claim that he is an “environmentalist,” citing a book written by one of his own advisors titled “Donald Trump: An Environmental Hero.”
Democrats are fighting back, passing environmental protection legislation in the House, including limiting pollutants in our drinking water, reentering the U.S. into the Paris Climate Accord, and reducing diesel emissions in our air.
