96 Fellow Conservative,
Georgia has been on a historic run for economic
development and job growth over the last few years thanks to Governor
Kemp’s strong, focused leadership and the common-sense conservative
policies Republican elected officials have passed into law.
In the past
year alone, the Kemp administration announced four of the largest
economic development projects in state history, which will add up to
more than 20,000 new jobs.
And Governor Kemp is incredibly proud that
the vast majority of those jobs are coming to areas outside of metro
Atlanta that need them the most!
Back in 2019, Qcells – one of the
largest renewable energy companies in the world – opened the largest
solar panel manufacturing facility in the Western Hemisphere in Dalton.
Last month, the company announced its plan to invest an additional $2.5
billion to expand its facilities in northwest Georgia, creating an
additional 2,500 high-paying jobs.
Georgia is leading the nation as the
#1 state for business for 9 consecutive years, and we can’t let up now.
