Sorry to bother you, but I just spoke with Kevin, the director of One Richmond. He let me know that we’re still $750 short of our July fundraising goal.
After my fight with the NRA earlier this month, all eyes will be on our July fundraising numbers. I know the people of Richmond want me to keep standing up to the NRA -- but we need to meet our July goal to show them that Richmond isn’t scared of any special interest groups.
The Virginia General Assembly showed their true colors recently when they refused to take action on gun reform. It can be disheartening to see that some of our elected officials are in the pockets of the NRA, but that just gives us even more reason to fight back with our people-powered, grassroots movement.
