A new poll from NPR and PBS shows that Americans may be warming to Trump on Iran. While previously ABC News and Ipsos reported that 56% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of Iran, NPR now found that number has dropped to 49%. If Trump turns public opinion in his favor right as the Senate begins his impeachment trial, he will be emboldened to take the conflict further.
