Learn more about key issues and how to lobby your legislator effectively

Dear ACLU Supporter,

The Iowa Legislative session started Monday, and there's so much at stake – abortion rights, voting rights, racial justice, equality for LGBTQ+ individuals, free speech, religious freedom (including freedom from religion), immigration, and more.

So it's more important than ever that you do what you can to shape the conversation around these key issues. And we'll show you how at our 2020 Lobby Day.

ACLU of Iowa Lobby Day

Tuesday, February 18, 8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Iowa State Capitol Legislative Dining Room
1007 E. Grand Ave.
Des Moines, IA 50309

We'll do a deep dive into some of the most pressing civil liberties in our state right now, give an overview of how the Legislature works and how to lobby, and then you'll get out there and talk with legislators!
