In my first month in Congress, I’ve seen the risks our democracy faces while serial liar, George Santos, continues to sit as a Congressman after falsifying his credentials to his voters, and as MAGA conspiracy theorists like Marjorie Taylor Green and Lauren Bobert demand an extreme and dangerous agenda that could destroy our economy and take away our hard-fought freedoms.

These people who were elected to work for the betterment of Americans are the very people that vilify immigrants who come to this country seeking the American dream, and oppose “big government” but want the government to limit LGBTQ+ rights and abortion rights. These are the people that are willing to let America default on its debt and cause economic catastrophe for working Americans. And we cannot let them succeed.

As long as I am in Congress, I promise to continue to fight to protect the American people, regardless of immigration status, sexuality, or socioeconomic status. But I cannot continue in this fight alone, I need you by my side.
