Hank’s wife Mereda here. I want to thank you for the outpouring of support you showed after my last email to you.
Watching the U.S. House this month, one thing has become totally clear: Republicans really don’t know how to govern. They seem to think it’s all a game. But Hank and his Democratic colleagues in D.C. are cleaning up after their GOP counterparts, trying to make sure that Republicans don’t completely break the House during the two years they’re in the majority.
And John — we have to make absolutely sure it’s only two years.
Right now, the GOP is raising money here in Georgia and around the country to try to expand their numbers in the next election. And from what I’ve seen of Hank’s fundraising spreadsheets, he’s falling behind.
So I’m asking you to help him out with a donation before the end of the month. Hank has set a $2,500 end-of-January goal, but he’s still $1,400 short, and he needs your help to get the rest of the way.
