After a chaotic start to Deborah’s second Congressional term — as House Republicans took 15 rounds of voting to elect a Speaker — the GOP used their narrow majority to advance extreme anti-choice legislation.

Deborah fought back, as she always will when Republicans advance legislation at odds with the will of the people of North Carolina. But it’s clear that now that the GOP has control of the House, we’ll need to work twice as hard to ensure Congress does its job and passes legislation that will help people across the country.
