
Surveillance
is everywhere. China has 200 million cameras focused on its people, and with 50 million the
U.S. has more cameras per capita. Captured on video and via data
mining, our private lives are fodder for businesses and governments without our
consent or notification. One big component of this is the Patriot Act, which
allowed the National Security Agency to gather and store phone calls, emails,
and text messages of U.S. citizens, even gaining access to your own camera.
