1. TAKE ACTION: Click to contact your NC officials and ask them to support a Heartbeat Bill

Currently, over 30,000 abortions take place in NC each year. Only a Heartbeat Act, which protects life after a fetal heartbeat is detected, will save 86% of babies in our state who are currently being killed by abortion violence.

Do you believe we should protect the heartbeats of the unborn? If so, would you consider using our time-saving tool to email your NC representatives, and ask them to pass a Heartbeat Act?

2. CAROLINA JOURNAL, OP-ED BY TAMI FITZGERALD: Do what’s right. Pass an NC Heartbeat Act to protect the unborn

For the first time in 50 years, North Carolina legislators have the opportunity to save tens of thousands of pre-born babies annually from abortion violence, to protect women, and to provide life-saving alternatives to the brave mothers who choose life. With the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, North Carolina could become a destination for life instead of abortion.

3. LIFESITENEWS: New Poll Shows 67% of North Carolina Voters Want Abortion Ban or Limits

“New polling conducted by Differentiator Data for NC Values, NC Faith & Freedom Coalition and Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America shows 67% of North Carolina voters support limits on abortion. Notably, by a 14-point margin, voters preferred legislation to protect unborn children when a heartbeat can be detected, with exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother, versus the Democratic Party platform that calls for abortion on demand without limits throughout pregnancy. The poll surveyed 500 registered voters statewide from January 9-12, 2023 and has a margin of error of 4.5%.” <[link removed]>

5. DAILY WIRE: North Carolina Teacher Association Instructs Kindergarteners In Radical Gender Theory

"A North Carolina teacher association provides resources to local schools and daycares on introducing radical gender theory to young children.

The North Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children (NCAEYC) hosts a documentary on their website called, 'Reflecting on Anti-bias Education in Action: The Early Years,' featuring a scene with a group of children aged four and five getting a lesson on 'gender identity' from their 'non-binary' teacher. The film was recently shown to daycare owners in North Carolina during a training session by the NCAEYC, according to Jordan Chamberlain of the Washington Free Beacon."

Weekly Prayer: NC Officials

LORD, you also have instructed us to pray for our governing officials, and we come to you in the spirit of this petition. We pray for our state government and its executive, legislative, and judicial servants. May they indeed be servants unto the people, and govern in a manner that protects liberty and virtue. In the same spirit, we pray for public servants across our local governments. May they all heed your mandate in Romans 13:4 to be in positions of authority as "God's servant" and for the "good" of the public. They govern in what we confess are difficult times. May they plead with you to give them wisdom, and may your grace to govern wisely be poured out on them.

Protect us from the oppression and loss of freedoms that other countries have experienced, and help us to value and preserve freedom, which we know comes only from You.

"I have indeed seen the oppression of my people in Egypt.  I have heard their groaning and have come down to set them free." Acts 7:34

Amen
