This is our chance to stop politicians from interfering with our freedom to make our own decisions about our bodies and futures.

The Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act
was introduced in the U.S. House today

John,

For decades, Congress has enacted the Hyde Amendment, which blocks people enrolled in Medicaid and other federal health care programs from using their insurance to cover abortion care. This kind of ban on abortion coverage denies affordable and accessible abortion care to people who have already been marginalized by our health care system—people working to make ends meet, people of color, young people, and the LGBTQ+ community.

The Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act, which was introduced in the U.S. House today, would end the Hyde Amendment and other existing coverage bans—a crucial step forward in creating a future where reproductive freedom is a reality for every body.

Tell your representative: Support the EACH Act!

The Hyde Amendment has, for decades, kept abortion care from being accessible—even before the fall of Roe v. Wade. Abortion coverage bans are one piece of the extremist anti-choice strategy to block access to abortion care entirely—and this is our chance to stop them. Ensuring insurance coverage of abortion care is an important step toward breaking down the massive barriers to abortion access that most harm people working to make ends meet, people of color, young people, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Will you ask your member of Congress to support the EACH Act now?
