Right now, my Democratic colleagues are fighting to win three seats in the February 7th Allegheny County House special elections. With a GOP majority in the Senate and a razor-thin margin in the House, we need to win these seats if we’re going to continue enacting progress for our communities.

House Republicans have already blocked a special session that would have expanded the window for victims of childhood sexual abuse to come forward, and they’ve threatened to restrict our right to vote by mail. If the GOP’s agenda makes it to the Senate, we won’t have the Democratic votes to block their dangerous bills.
