Dogfish Head Craft Brewery announced yesterday that it is expanding distribution of its off-centered ales to North Dakota. The Delaware-based brewery is partnering with Bergseth Bros. Co. Inc., Jerome Distributing Inc., Magic City Beverage Co., McKinnon Company and Schwan Wholesale Co. to bring its full line-up of brews to residents throughout the Peace Garden State, increasing the company’s total market distribution to 46 states and Washington, D.C.
Anheuser-Busch adds 4 beers to growing low-alcohol collection
The market for no- and low-alcohol products in the U.S. is expected to grow about 32% between 2018 and 2022, and Anheuser-Busch is taking note adding four beers to its lineup. The new products include So-Lo from Goose Island, Gilt Lifter from Four Peaks Brewing Company, Resolution Blueberry Acai Golden Ale from Breckenridge Brewery and Mango Cart Non-Alcoholic Wheat Ale from Golden Road Brewing.
IRI: Off-premise beer sales top $37 billion in 2019
Total beer dollar sales in 2019 increased to $37.2 billion in U.S. off-premise retailers, according to market research firm IRI. The Chicago-based market research firm, which tracks category-wide sales at major off-premise retailers, reported a 5.2% increase in beer dollar sales, and a 2.3% increase in volume sales at multi-outlet and convenience stores through December 29.
