Dear John

Happy New Year and good luck to everyone getting through some sort of January challenge. Whether it’s Run Every Day (RED), Dry January or just Don’t-spend-uary - keep going, you’re halfway through!

My personal challenge is Veganuary and I’ve had plenty of ups and downs along the way. I was tested when my colleague returned from Australia with some Ozzie-style Koala version of Freddos <[link removed]>, but then happy to discover on my visit to the Irish Embassy that Guinness is now vegan! <[link removed]>

As a new year’s resolution, I’m launching this Love London Better newsletter - where I’ll be sharing stories of the things Londoners love and shining a light on the things that need to be better.

Read on to hear about an innovative restaurant focused on wellbeing, more trouble at the failing South West Rail and my wide-ranging interview with the Metro - where I call for the Women’s World Cup to come to London and legalising cannabis.

Kind Regards

Siobhan Benita
Lib Dem Candidate for Mayor of London <[link removed]>
