Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Spring Training

Hurst Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is partnering with the Bedford Citizen Corps Council (BCCC) to sponsor a CERT training class starting on *Tuesday, March 21, 2023*. The CERT program helps train people to be better prepared to respond to emergency situations in their communities. When emergencies happen, CERT members are trained to give critical support to first responders, provide immediate assistance to victims, and organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site. CERT members can also help with non-emergency projects that help improve the safety of the community. The training is open to anyone 18 years or older who lives or works in Hurst or Bedford. There is no charge for the training. All the details, including the application, are available on our website.
