It’s Julia, JD’s finance director. This morning, I poured a cup of coffee and sat down with our fundraising numbers for the month.

I don’t usually work on the weekends, but this is really important. We had a slow start to the month and now we need to raise $8,000 from emails just like this one in order to stay on track to pay all of our bills this month.

The good news is that if 1 out of 3 folks who open this email each donate $3, then we can hit this goal before tomorrow at midnight.

Imagine the Democratic Party without AOC, Jamaal Bowman, Summer Lee, or Cori Bush in Congress. Justice Democrats recruited each of these leaders to run and win and we’re building the infrastructure for even more grassroots candidates to do the same.

We can’t continue to fall short of our fundraising goals. The success of Justice Democrats as an organization is largely dependent on our fundraising numbers and whether we’re able to reach this $8,000 goal. Will you contribute right now?
