Please join our Zoom call tomorrow, Saturday January 14 at 10 AM.

We will provide updates and discuss the 2023 Legislative session.

This article was recently shared with us - Sprawl Is Good, The Environmental Case for Suburbia. So much of the Yimby philosophy and the legislature's push for high density housing in already expensive urban communities is anti-sprawl, based primarily on climate change. It's refreshing to read the opposite position, with sound arguments. This may be worth discussing on Saturday

348 Bills have been introduced so far. Livable California is screening 30 of these. Bills followed by LC are linked here.

This is just the start - bills can be introduced through Feb 17th.

January is a tough month for contributions. A generous contributor just helped us meet our mid-month commitments - Thank You. Others, see below and help if you can.

Help us continue to lobby for good bills and fight bad ones for you, while keeping you informed and involved. The best way for us to be sustainable throughout the year is to have enough monthly contributors. $20 or $50 per month from enough new monthly contributors will really help our sustainability. Become a sustaining member with a modest monthly donation. If you can't become a monthly contributor, please send a spot contribution to help the cause here.

If you have previously attended our teleconferences use your previously assigned zoom link. We resend those on the day before for your convenience. Please don't share your unique link.

First-time attending? You must RSVP at this link. Questions about attending? Email us at: admin@livableca.org.
