Hi there, John:

First: Our organizers and advocates on the ground rallied in Illinois pressing lawmakers to ban assault weapons.

Then: The Illinois legislature overwhelmingly passed the Protect Illinois Communities Act, a monumental victory in getting weapons of war off the streets.

Now: It’s going to take all of us raising our voices to keep our momentum going. The reason we have made so much progress is because of supporters like you, and your support allows us to bring the fight to end gun violence to state legislatures all across the country.

We cannot let up for a moment. Pitch in any amount toward our fundraising goal before Monday’s mid-month deadline so we have the resources to build on this win and continue organizing for change in every state →
